Poly VVX 250/350/450 – Call Forwarding and Diverting

There are three ways you can forward calls. You can forward an incoming call while the phone rings, forward all incoming calls automatically, or divert calls from a specific contact to another contact.

Call forwarding can also be enabled on your phone using system dial codes.

Call forwarding can also be set up for your account from the different versions of the TeleConsole app. See the relevant TeleConsole articles for Android, iOS, and Windows/macOS/Web

Forwarding an Incoming Call

You can forward an incoming call directly to a contact without answering the call. Note that this does not work on shared lines.

To forward a ringing call:

  • In the Incoming Call screen, select the Forward soft key.

  • From the Call Forwarding screen, enter the forwarding number, and select Forward.

  • If you add 0 before an internal number the call will be forwarded directly to the contact's voicemail.

Forward All Incoming Calls Automatically

You can set up your phone to forward all incoming calls automatically using one of the following forwarding types:

  • Always forwards all incoming calls.

  • No Answer forwards all unanswered incoming calls.

  • Busy  forward incoming calls when you are busy with another call.

For shared lines, you can only choose Always as your forwarding type; the other forwarding options are

not available for shared lines.

To forward all incoming calls automatically:

  • Select the Forward soft key (if you don't see it select More first) or from the Main Menu screen navigate to Settings>Features>Forward.

  • If your phone has multiple lines, select a line.

  • On the Forwarding Type Select screen, select  Always, No Answer, or Busy.

  • Enter a contact's number or IP address, if enabled, and select Enable.

  • If you selected the No Answer option, enter the number of rings before the call is forwarded.

The forwarding number or name of the contact you chose scrolls in the status bar. When you select Always as your forwarding option, the Forwarding icon () is displayed on the relevant line.

Disabling call forwarding

Follow these steps to disable call forwarding when you no longer need it:

  • Select the Forward soft key (if you don't see it select More first) or from the Main Menu screen navigate to Settings>Features>Forward.

  • If your phone has multiple lines, select a line.

  • From the Forwarding Type Select screen select your active forwarding type and select Disable.

Diverting Calls

You can divert all incoming calls from a particular contact to another contact.

To divert calls:

  • From the Main Menu screen navigate to Directories>Contact Directory.

  • From the Contact Directory, select a contact whom you want to divert calls from.

  • From the Contact Information screen, select Edit.

  • From the Edit Contact screen, select Divert Contact and enter a contact's number.

  • Select Auto Divert>Enabled.

  • Select Save.
