Setting up Your Profile

Your ACD Panel's profile provide your agents with some details about yourself. It is also where you set time zones and change your password.

 

Click on Profile from the ACD menu to open the Profile window. The window opens as a pop-up rather than a separate menu. Press Escape on your keyboard or click    on the top-left corner to close it.

Here are the different operations you can perform here:


  • Changing your profile picture (avatar).

    The title of the window is your name followed by “Account Owner.” Above the title is your profile picture (your avatar), If you have not changed it the default image is which is a generic symbol of a person. 

    Hover your mouse on this symbol. It will change to   . Click and you will be prompted to navigate and select an image from your computer to replace the generic symbol.

  • Setting personal information.

    Below the title you can enter information in the following fields: 

    • First Name - self explanatory.

    • Last Name - self explanatory.

    • Phone Extension - note that your extension is defined when your phone line is setup. You cannot change it here, but entering it here allows it to be seen by your agents on their TeleConsole interface.

    • Email Address - which doubles as your User Name.

        If you change your email address you will need to contact us to set you up with a new password.

    • Mobile Phone Number - self explanatory.

  • Setting time zones.

    The next two fields are pull-down menus to change time zones:

    • Customer-Default - is where you select the country and time zone of your main client’s base.



    • Country - select the time zone for the location of your own country.


  • Changing your password.

    To change your password, first enter the new password in the Change Password field. Then reenter it in the Confirm Password field to verify you made no typos.


  • Saving your changes or canceling them.

    When you are done, click the Update button to apply all the changes you made.

    If you don't want to save your changed, press the Escape button on your keyboard,  click    on the top-left,  or drag the scrolling-slider on the right side of the window. Either method will to close the Profile window without keeping any alterations that you made.
