Do Not Disturb

You can use Do Not Disturb to reject incoming calls automatically on the phone.  Callers will receive a busy message. All calls you receive while DND is enabled are logged to your missed calls list.


You will get a prompt message about the number of missed calls when the feature is enabled. The prompt message will display only if Missed Call Log for the line is enabled.


You can enable/disable DND for your entire phone. This is the default option and it is called Phone Mode. You can also configure DND for each or all accounts on your phone, which is called Custom Mode.


To configure the DND mode via web user interface:

 

  • Click on Features>Forward & DND.

  • In the DND block, mark the desired radio box in the Mode field.



  • Click Confirm to accept the change.
DND Activation

To activate DND in phone mode:


  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.
     
  • The   icon on the status bar indicates that DND is enabled.

  • Incoming calls will be rejected automatically and a message counting the number of missed called will prompt on the LCD screen.



When DND and busy forward are enabled in phone mode, calls will be sent to the configured destination number.


To activate DND for a specific account in custom mode:

  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • The LCD screen displays a list of accounts registered on the phone.



  • Here you can press the All On soft key to activate DND for all accounts.

  • To activate DND for a specific account:

    • press   or    to select the desired account and then press the Enter soft key.

    • Press    or  , or the Switch soft key to select Enabled from the DND Enable field.


  • Press the Save soft key to accept the change.

If you activate DND for the default account, the associated line icon will change to   , and   icon will appear on the status bar.

If you activate DND for the non-default account, only the   icon will appear on the status bar.


If you activate DND for the all account, all the icons will change to   , and   icon will appear on the status bar.

Incoming calls on the specific or all lines will be rejected automatically, and a message counting the number of missed called will prompt on the LCD screen.


When DND and busy forward are both enabled for a specific account, calls to the specific account will be sent to the configured destination number.


Authorized Numbers


You can receive incoming calls from authorized numbers even when DND is enabled. This is configured via the web user interface.


To configure the DND authorized numbers via web user interface: 


  • Click on Features->Forward & DND.

  • Select Enabled from the pull-down list of DND Emergency.

  • Enter the numbers in the DND Authorized Numbers field.

  • For multiple numbers, enter a comma between every two numbers.



  • Click Confirm to accept the change. 

When DND is enabled on the phone, the phone can still receive incoming calls from the numbers specified in the DND Authorized Numbers field
