Making or Rejecting Anonymous Call

You can use anonymous call to block your identify and phone number from appearing to the recipient of your call.


You can also use Telebroad's TeleConsole to select an Unknown caller ID or Telebroad's Private Caller ID dial code to achieve the same result. 


The Yealink phone also has a feature to automatically block incoming anonymous calls.


Making Anonymous Calls

To configure anonymous call via phone user interface: 


  • Press Menu>Features>Anonymous Call.

  • Press   to select Local Anonymous and then press the    or    soft key to select Enabled from the Local Anonymous field.



  • Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.

Anonymous call is configurable via web user interface at the path Account>Basic.

To place an anonymous call:

 

  • Place a call with a phone configured as above to another phone.

  • The screen of the other phone prompts an incoming call from an anonymous caller.

Anonymous Call Rejection


Anonymous call rejection automatically rejects incoming calls from callers who deliberately block their identities and numbers from being displayed. 


To configure anonymous call rejection:


  • Press Menu>Features>Anonymous Call.

  • Press     or    to scroll to the Anony Rejection field.

  • Press the     or     soft key to select Enabled from the Anony Rejection field.



  • Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.

Anonymous call rejection is configurable via web user interface at the path Account>Basic.
