Do Not Disturb

You can use DND to reject incoming calls automatically on the phone. When activated callers will receive a busy message.


DND can be activated as a whole for the entire phone system, or for each account separately. The second option is called custom mode and is only available if your administrator has set it up.

 

To activate DND for the entire phone system:


  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • An icon on the idle screen indicates that DND is enabled.

  • Incoming calls will be rejected automatically and "n New Missed Call(s)" ("n" indicates the number of the missed calls) will appear on the LCD screen.



To activate DND for a specific account in custom mode:


Again, this mode is available only if your administrator has set up.

 

  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • The LCD screen displays a list of accounts on the phone.


  • Press Up or Down to select the desired account.

  • Press Left or Right soft key to select On to activate DND.

  • Press the Save soft key to accept the change.

  • Both the associated line icon and the idle screen will display an icon to indicate DND is activated.


  • Incoming calls on the specific line will be rejected automatically, and the LCD screen will prompt "n New Missed Call(s)" ("n" indicates the number of the missed calls).



To activate DND for all account in custom mode:


  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • The LCD screen displays a list of accounts registered on the phone.


  • Press the All On soft key to activate DND for all accounts.

  • Press the Save soft key to accept the change.

  • All the associated line icon and the idle screen will display an icon to indicate DND is activated.


  • Incoming calls will be rejected automatically, and the LCD screen will prompt "n New Missed Call(s)" ("n" indicates the number of the missed calls)
