Yealink SIP-T48U – Call Forwarding

You can configure your phone to forward incoming calls to another party at all times. This is called Static Forwarding. You can also forward calls while your phone is ringing which is called Dynamic forwarding.

If you need to receive calls from certain numbers while forwarding is enabled you have the option of configuring Authorized Numbers.

You can also forward calls using a Telebroad system feature code as described here.

Static Forwarding

There are three types of static forwarding:

  • Always Forward - incoming calls are immediately forwarded.

  • Busy Forward - incoming calls are immediately forwarded if the phone is busy.

  • No Answer Forward - incoming calls are forwarded if not answered after a period of time.

You can enable/disable call forward for the entire phone system. This is known as phone mode and is the default option. You can also customize call forward for each or all accounts. The later is called Custom mode and must be set up in advance by your phone system administrator.

To configure the call forward mode via web user interface:

  • Click on Features>Forward&DND.

  • In the Forward block, mark the desired radio box in the Mode field.

  • Click Confirm to accept the change.
