Poly VVX 601 – Call Forwarding and Diverting


There are three ways you can forward calls. You can forward an incoming call while the phone rings, forward all incoming calls automatically, or divert calls from a specific contact to another contact.


Call forwarding can also be enabled on your phone using system dial codes.


Call forwarding can also be set up for your account from the different versions of the TeleConsole app. See the relevant TeleConsole articles for Android, iOS, and Windows/macOS/Web


Forwarding All Calls Automatically


Once you configure automatic call forwarding it remains active until you disable it. 


To forward all calls Automatically:


  • Do one of the following:

    • From the Home  view, tap Forward.

    • Tap    from the Home view, and tap Features>Forward.

    • If your phone is idle, tap Forward from the Lines view.

  • If your phone is set up with multiple lines, tap the line to apply forwarding to.

  • From the Forwarding Type Select screen, tap:

    • Always to forward all incoming calls.

    • No Answer – to forward all unanswered incoming calls.

    • Busy  to forward calls that arrive when you’re already on a call.

  • Enter the forwarding number, and tap Enable.

    If you selected the No Answer option, you can enter the number of rings before your phone forwards the call.

  • The forwarding number you chose scrolls in the status bar.



    If a phone line is idle, the Lines view displays the forwarding icon next to the phone line.

To disable call forwarding:


  • From the Home view, tap Forward.

  • If your phone is set up with multiple lines, tap the line to disable forwarding for.

  • From the Forwarding Type Select screen, tap Disable.

Forwarding an Incoming Call


Instead of automatically forwarding all calls, you can forward an incoming call while your phone rings without answering the call. 


To forward an incoming call:


  •  While your phone rings tap Forward.

  • From the Call Forwarding screen, enter the forwarding number, and tap Forward.

Diverting Calls


You can divert incoming calls from a particular contact to another contact.


To divert incoming calls from a specific contact to another person:


  • Tap Directories from the Home view, and tap Contact Directory.

  • Select the contact whose calls you want to send to another person.

  • From the contact’s information screen, tap .

  • From the Edit Contact screen, do the following:

    • Tap Divert Contact, and enter the number of the person you want the call to be forwarded to.

    • Tap Auto Divert, and tap Enabled.

  • Tap Save.
