Yealink W59R – Making or Rejecting Anonymous Calls

You can use anonymous call to block your identify and phone number from appearing to the recipient. 


You can also select an Unknown or Blocked caller ID in the TeleConsole's general or phone settings (see webAndroid, or iOS versions) or use Telebroad's Private Caller ID dial code to achieve the same result. 


The Yealink W59R phone has a feature to automatically block incoming anonymous calls, some of which may be unsolicited. Additional features to block unwanted calls and SPAM text messages are available from the TeleConsole and the Admin Portal. See more information here


Making Anonymous Calls


To configure anonymous call feature for a specific line via the handset:


  • Press     to enter the main menu.

  • Select Call Features>Anonymous Call.

  • Press    or      to select Enabled.

  • Press the OK soft key to accept the change.

Any call you place now will be anonymous. Repeat the same steps but select Disabled to disable the feature.


Anonymous Call Rejection


Anonymous call rejection automatically rejects incoming calls from callers who deliberately block their identities and numbers from being displayed.


To configure anonymous call rejection feature for a specific line via the handset:


  • Press      to enter the main menu.

  • Select Call Features>Anon.Call Rejection.

  • Press    or      to select Enabled.

  • Press the OK soft key to accept the change.

All anonymous incoming calls will be automatically rejected now. Repeat the same steps but select Disabled to disable the feature.
