You can set up your phone to automatically answer calls. When enabled, the phone automatically answers all incoming calls using the speakerphone (your phone can also answer calls automatically when someone contacts you using the Intercom feature.)
If you already have an active call, the phone doesn’t automatically answer an incoming call until you place your current call on hold or end it.
Your system administrator sets how many times the phone rings before it automatically answers the call. You can decide if the call is answered muted or unmuted.
To enable the Auto Answer feature:
- Navigate to Settings>Basic>Preferences.
- Select Auto Answer.
- Select Auto Answer SIP Calls and select Yes.
- Select Microphone Muted and choose Yes (the default setting) if you want calls to be answered automatically with the microphone muted.
- Select Video Mute and select Yes to mute the audio of video calls that are auto-answered.
- Select Save.
