You can place an active call on hold and resume the call when you are ready. Other calls can be made and received while placing the original call on hold.
The Mute keys glow red when you place a call on hold. The Mute keys flash green when the other contact places you on hold.
When you place a call on hold, the held party may hear either a ringing tone or music as determined by either your phone system administrator or your TeleConsole's phone setting "While call ring play the caller" option.
To hold a call:
- During an active call, select Hold.
To resume a call do one of the following:
- Select Resume.
- From the Calls screen, select the relevant call and select Resume.
