Hold and Resume

When you place a call on hold, the held party may hear either a ringing tone or music as determined by either your phone system administrator or your TeleConsole's phone setting "While call ring play the caller" option.


To place a call on hold:


  • To put an active call on hold, press     or the Hold softkey.

  • A series of beeps or music on hold plays for the caller to indicate that the call is on hold.

Resuming a Call:

  • To resume a call, press     again or the Resume softkey.

  • You can also press the flashing red line button for the call if the feature has been configured.
