You can transfer an external incoming call to another party in one of the following ways:
- Blind Transfer — transfer a call directly to another party without consulting or waiting for a ring-back tone.
- Semi-Attended Transfer — transfer a call when receiving the ring-back.
- Attended Transfer — transfer a call with prior consulting.
Internal incoming call cannot be transferred.
Another transfer method, using Telebroad's system features, allows you to transfer a call directly to a voicemail of your choice.
To transfer a call:
- Do one of the following:
- Press the Options soft key during a call, and then select Transfer.
- Press TRAN key.
- Press the Options soft key during a call, and then select Transfer.
- Enter the number of the intended recipient and press or to dial out.
- Do one of the following:
- Blind transfer: Press TRAN or the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
- Semi-attended transfer: When you hear the ring-back tone, press the TRAN key or Transfer soft key to finish the transfer.
- An attended (consultative) transfer: After the contact answers the call, press the TRAN key or Transfer soft key to finish transfer.
- Blind transfer: Press TRAN or the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
