Yealink CP930 (Discontinued) – Parking and Retrieving a Call

For the CP930 replacement please refer to the user guides for the Yealink CP935W.

You can use call park to place a call on hold, and then retrieve the call from another phone in the system (for example, a phone in another office or conference room).

Call parking is also useful when a call need to be transfered to a person that is not at their desk. A receptionist can accept the call, park it, and use the office overhead paging system make an announcement to the person about the extension the call is waiting for him at. The person can then use any nearby phone to retrieve it.

To park a call:

  • During a call, select Call Park (you may need to tap More first.)

  • If you want to park the call against the local extension tap #.

  • If you want to park the call against a different extension, enter the extension and tap #.

  • A voice prompt will confirm if the call is parked successfully and the system may also provide a park retrieve code.

To retrieving a parked call:

  • Do one of the following:

    • If supported by the phone, tap Retrieve (you may need to tap the More first) on the idle screen.

    • Dial the extension where the call was parked at followed by #.

  • Follow the voice prompts to retrieve the call and provide the retrive code if requested.
