You can use anonymous call to block your identify and phone number from appearing to the recipient. Anonymous call is configurable on a per-line basis.
You can also select an Unknown or Blocked caller ID in the TeleConsole's general or phone settings (see Wweb, Android, or iOS versions) or use Telebroad's Private Caller ID dial code to achieve the same result.
The Yealink W52P phone also has a feature to automatically block incoming anonymous calls.
Making Anonymous Calls
To configure anonymous call feature for a specific line via the handset:
- Press to enter the main menu.
- Select Call Features>Anonymous Call.
- The LCD screen displays the outgoing lines currently assigned to the handset. The default outgoing line is highlighted and followed by a left arrow.
- Press or or to highlight the desired line, and then press the OK soft key.
- Press or to select the desired value from the Status field.
- Press the OK soft key to accept the change.
To place an anonymous call:
- Use the specific line you configured above on the handset to place a call.
- The screen of the destination phone prompts an incoming call from anonymous.
Anonymous Call Rejection
You can use anonymous call rejection to reject incoming calls from anonymous callers.
Anonymous call rejection automatically rejects incoming calls from callers who deliberately block their identities and numbers from being displayed. Anonymous call rejection is configurable on a per-line basis.
To configure anonymous call rejection feature for a specific line via the handset:
- Press to enter the main menu.
- Select Call Features>Anon.Call Rejection.
The LCD screen displays the incoming lines currently assigned to the handset. The default incoming line is highlighted and followed by a left arrow. - Press or to highlight the desired line, and then press the OK soft key.
- Press or or to select the desired value from the Status field.
- Press the OK soft key to accept the change.
