Yealink Yealink CP925/965/935W – Blocking Calls With the Blocklist Directory

Blocklist Directory Usage

You can store up to 30 entries in the Blocklist directory to block unwanted callers. Incoming calls from contacts/numbers on the Blocklist directory are rejected automatically which can help you avoid disturbances during a conference.

For additional call blocking and filtering options, using Telebroad's admin portal, refer to this article.

Adding Contact/Numbers to the Blocklist

You can add numbers/contacts to the Blocklist Directory by entering them manually or from the local directory or the call history.

To manually enter a number in the Blocklist Directory:

  • On the idle screen, tap  (Directory) and select Local Directory>Blocklist.

  • Select  .

  • Enter the contact information you wish to block.

  • Select Done.

To move a Local Directory contact to the Blocklist Directory:

  • On the idle screen, tap  (Directory) and select Local Directory.

  • Select a contact group if applicable.

  • Tap the desired contact and select Blocklist.

  • Select OK to approve the move.

To add a record from the call history to the Blocklist Directory:

  • On the idle screen select   (call history).

  • Tap All Calls to display all call history records.

  • Select the desired list.

  • Next to the desired entry tap    and select Blocklist.

  • Edit the contact information as needed.

  • Select Done.

Viewing, Editing, and Deleting Blocklist Items

If you want to answer a call from a specific contact, you need to remove it from the Blocklist by deleting it or moving it back to the Local Directory.

To view, edit, move, or delete blocklisted contacts:

  • On the idle screen, tap  (Directory) and select Local Directory>Blocklist to view all blocklisted contacts.

  • Tap the desired contact and

    • Select    to edit the selected contact.

Edit the blocklisted contact information and select Done.

    • Select Delete to remove the contact from the Blocklist Directory (it will not be deleted from other directories.) Select OK when prompted to approve the deletion.

Instead of deleting the contact you can also move it back to the Local Directory – tap to edit the contact, select Local Directory from the Group field, and select Done.

You can also remove all the contacts from the Blocklist Directory (the contacts will not be deleted from other directories.) To do so hold (long-tap) any contact, tap the radio box on the top-right of the screen to select all blocklisted contacts, and select > Delete. Select OK when the phone prompts you to approve the deletion.
