You can place an active call on hold. Other calls can be made and received while the call is on hold.
The held party may hear either a ringing tone or music as determined by your phone system administrator.
To place a call on hold:
- During a call, Select Hold on the Calls Screen.
The phone will beep softly every 30 seconds to remind you that you still have a call on hold.
To resume a held call:
- Select Resume on the Calls Screen.
If multiple calls are placed on hold, select the desired call first. - When you have multiple calls on the phone, you can select Previous/Next to swap to the held call.
