Hold and Resume

You can place an active call on hold. Other calls can be made and received while placing the original call on hold.


When you place a call on hold, the held party may hear either a ringing tone or music as determined by either your phone system administrator or your TeleConsole's phone setting "While call ring play the caller" option.

To place a call on hold:

  • Press   to put the call on hold.

    The LEDs change from blue to flashing red. Both the microphone and the speaker are turned off and the call is on hold.

  • Press    again to to reconnect the call.
