You can mute your phone's microphone temporarily during an active call so you can hear the other party but he or she cannot hear you.
To mute a call:
- Press the Mute button (
) during an active call. - The call is muted, and the
icon is displayed on the screen.
To unmute a call:
- Press the Mute button (
) again. - The
icon disappears from the screen.
