Yealink CP925/965/935W – Making or Rejecting Anonymous Calls

Anonymous Calling Features

On Yealink CP phones you can use outbound anonymous calling to block your identity and phone number from appearing to the recipient.

If you have to use the TeleConsole instead of your CP phone you can also select an Unknown or Blocked caller ID in the general or phone settings (see Desktop/Web, Android, or iOS versions.)

Your phone also has a feature to automatically block incoming anonymous calls, some of which may be unsolicited. Additional features to block unwanted calls and spam text messages are available from the TeleConsole and the Admin Portal. See more information here

Making Anonymous Calls

Anonymous calling is configured for each line separately. Once enabled, all outbound calls for the configured line will be anonymous until the feature is disabled.

Another option to make anonymous calls is to use Telebroad's Private Caller ID dial code.

Placing an Anonymous Call

Use the specific line(s) you configured above to place an anonymous call to another phone. The screen of the other phone prompts an incoming call from an anonymous/blocked/unknown number.

If the recipient has enables an anonymous call rejection feature (see next) on his phone, you may be prompted that he does not accept calls from an anonymous number.
