The guides for the Yealink SIP-T58a of this support section shows you how to access features directly from the phone via the phone's user interface. But for more advanced features (such as DND or forwarding authorized numbers) or ease of access, you can also customize your phone via a web user interface.
In order to access the web user interface, you need to know the IP address of your new phone, after it has been provisioned. To obtain the IP address, tap Swipe down from the top of the screen to enter the control center or swipe left or right to show the second idle screen. Select Settings and Status. The IP address will show at the top of the General block.
Enter the IP address in a web browser on a computer or mobile device:
- For example http://192.168.0.10 or 192.168.0.10 for the IPv4 protocol.
- For example http://[2005:1:1:1:215:65ff:fe64:6e0a] or [2005:1:1:1:215:65ff:fe64:6e0a] for IPv6 protocol.
When prompted enter the administrator user name and password and click Confirm. The default values are both “admin” (case-sensitive).
For security, after accessing the web user interface you can change the admin password from Security > Password. You can also change it from the phone user interface from Settings > Advanced Settings > Set Password.
If you have Adblock Plus plugin installed on your web browser it may block access to the Advanced Account or Network settings via web user interface. You will have to disable the plugin temporarily to access these features.
