Hold

You can place an active audio call on hold and then resume it when you are ready to keep talking. When you place a call on hold, the held party may hear either a ringing tone or music as determined by either your phone system administrator or your TeleConsole's phone setting "While call ring play the caller" option.


To hold a call:


  • During an active call, select the Hold soft key or press .



    If you're in the Calls screen, use the arrow keys to select the call first.

  • A hold icon () is displayed next to the held call, and a red LED light flashes on the relevant line key.

To resume a call do one of the following:

  • Select the Resume soft key or press the relevant flashing line key for the held call.

  • From the Calls screen, use the arrow keys to select the call and select the Resume soft key.
