Using the W56H Handset/DD10K Dongle With a Deskophone

Transforming a Deskphone to a Dect Base Station

The W56H DECT handset can be used with Yealink SIP-T5 series phones (T53 and T53W, T54W, 57W, 58, T59) for a convenient cordless calling experience.

The Yealink DD10K DECT USB dongle (bought separately) enables a SIP-T5 phone to act as a base station for the W56H and facilitates the DECT functionality. The dongle enables a phone to be registered with up to 4 compatible Yealink handsets.

DD10K Setup, Firmware, and Status

Insert the DD10K into the USB port on the back of the phone.

If the firmware versions of the DD10K and IP phone do not match, the IP phone will initiate a firmware upgrade on the DD10K. You may also need to first upgrade the firmware on your phone if its firmware is too old to support DECT functionality. Refer to the relevant firmware upgrade guides for your phone here.
