When receiving a new voice mail, the phone will play a warning tone and prompt with an “n New Voice Mail(s)” message (“n” indicates the number of unread voice mails, e.g., 4 New Voice Mail(s).)
Before listening to voice mails, you need to make sure the voice mail access code has been configured properly. Alternatively you can use a Telebroad system code dialed from your phone or remotely to listen to your voicemails and access voicemail options (such as greetings and PIN).
To configure voice mail access code:
- Select Menu from the idle screen and navigate Message > Voice Mail > Set Voice Mail Code.
You can also pressif the voice mail code is not yet configured.
- Enter *1 (the voice mail access code) in the desired account field.
- Select Save.
To listen to voice mails do one of the following:
- Select Menu from the idle screen and navigate to Message > Voice Mail > View Voice Mail.
The screen displays the amount of new and old voice mails.
Highlight an account, and then select Connect. - When the phone prompts of a new voice mail, you can press
or select Connect.
