Making or Rejecting Anonymous Calls

You can use anonymous call to block your identify and phone number from appearing to the recipient. Anonymous call is configurable on a per-line basis. 


You can also select an Unknown or Blocked caller ID in the TeleConsole's general or phone settings (see DesktopAndroid, or iOS versions) or use Telebroad's Private Caller ID dial code to achieve the same result. 


The Yealink W56P phone has a feature to automatically block incoming anonymous calls, some of which may be unsolicited. Additional features to block unwanted calls and SPAM text messages are available from the TeleConsole and the Admin Portal. See more information here


Making Anonymous Calls


To configure anonymous call feature for a specific line:


  • Press     to enter the main menu.

  • Select Call Features>Anonymous Call. The default outgoing line is highlighted and followed by a left arrow.

  • Press     or      to highlight the desired line, and then press the OK soft key.

  • Press    or      to select Enabled from the Status field.

  • Press the OK soft key to accept the change.

You can also configure anonymous calling via the web user interface by going to Account>Basic, selecting the desired account from the Account fieldselecting On from the Local Anonymous field, and clicking Confirm to accept the change.

Any call you place now with the selected line will be anonymous. Repeat the same steps but select Disabled (from the phone) or Off (from the web interface) to disable the feature.


Anonymous Call Rejection


Anonymous call rejection automatically rejects incoming calls from callers who deliberately block their identities and numbers from being displayed. Anonymous call rejection is configurable on a per-line basis. 


To configure anonymous call rejection feature for a specific line via the handset:


  • Press      to enter the main menu.

  • Select Call Features>Anon.Call Rejection.

    The default incoming line is highlighted and followed by a left arrow.

  • Press     or     to highlight the desired line, and then press the OK soft key.

  • Press    or      to select Enabled from the Status field.

  • Press the OK soft key to accept the change.

You can also configure anonymous call rejection via the web user interface by going to Account>Basic, selecting the desired account from the Account fieldselecting On from the Local Anonymous Rejection field, and clicking Confirm to accept the change.


All anonymous incoming calls will be automatically rejected now. Repeat the same steps but select Disabled (from the phone) or Off (from the web interface) to disable the feature.
